'A little known secret about Internet Explorer is the long standing feature that lets websites silently read data stored on the Windows clipboard', reveals Brian Krebs today, giving the reader reason to recall Mr Amit Yoran's last act in office before leaving the DHS - declaring MSIE a threat to US national security.

But let no one stand in the way of progress, for Microsoft have now added significant usability features to their previous generation web browser - now you get asked if you really want to do such a stupid thing.
