Opening the Windows Box

We know more about security than anyone on this side of our stargate.
 - Steve Ballmer

Get It

Try It

Don't ever let anyone kid you: Microsoft DO know security. It's just that when it comes to certain things like protecting their precious IP they pull out all the stops (read 'An open Letter to Hobbyists', Bill Gates, General Partner, Micro-Soft, 3 February 1976) but when it comes to uninteresting things like customer safety they simply don't give a shit.

Most people can be forgiven for not realising the following as most people have more sense than to use Microsoft software any longer. But a perusal of this page demonstrates not only how you open an intricately secured Microsoft software shrink wrap box but also the lengths Microsoft will go to in an effort to protect IP.
