Not Even 24 Hours

Another insanely great idea.

Get It

Try It

This is what happens when you install Windows and then let the box run for the night.

Things like this never happen on a Unix machine. The last time they happened outside the world of Microsoft was back when Apple still had MacOS 9.2.2. That was another seedy system. That was ten years ago.

The poor sod just installed Windows and went to sleep, leaving the system to idle overnight.

The system was doing nothing - just idling. And yet the picture below shows what the poor fool was greeted with when he awoke. Not even 24 hours after install. On a pristine system that had never been used.

'Unexpected shutdown? When is a Windows shutdown ever unexpected? Windows has recovered? O RLY? By rebooting? That's a recovery?'
