Miley Cyrus is TIME's 2013 POTYA landslide victory.
NEW YORK (Rixstep) — Pundits predicted it to be a fight to the wire, but Miley Cyrus pulled it off, winning TIME's honoured 'Person of the Year' award for 2013 by a veritable landslide.
With an impressive 4.5% of the total vote, Miley left her closest threat in the dust: Rand Paul got only a very embarrassing 1.1%.
Unjustified Criticism
Protests are already being heard, with some people accusing TIME of fudging poll results, as in 2010 when Mark Zuckerberg won.
But as anyone can see from the histogram above, taken straight from the TIME website, Miley Cyrus indeed has the vote. Those who cry for Edward Snowden today are undoubtedly the same whingers who in 2010 cried for Julian Assange.
