Sweden's Public Service Subliminal?

An old trick for modern times?

Get It

Try It

OXENSTIERNSGATAN (Rixstep) — It's no secret that Sweden's supposed 'public service' broadcasting is 'twisted'. They refused to air a documentary from Paul Moreira on Ukraine that they've already paid for because they didn't like the conclusions that Moreira's discoveries lead to - they're contrary to the NATO narrative.

They refuse to air the landmark Norwegian Hjernevask (Brainwash) series because it'd put a lot of them out of work.

They used five full-time employees to try to dig up dirt on Katerina Janouch when she told the truth to Czech media about how bad Sweden had become.

They smeared Tim Pool hard when he visited the country earlier this year, prompting him to say that Sweden 'creeps me out'.

80% of the people in the big SVT building profess to support a political party with a 2% mandate according to recent polls. But to be so devious as to use subliminal messaging to 'program' their viewers against their enemies?

Yes, that's going pretty far - even for Sweden's tainted 'public service'.

Aktuellt & Peter Springare

The incident in question occurred in the 21:00 transmission of 'Aktuellt', the evening news this past Monday. This is still available online for a few more days.

A segment on police whistleblower Peter Springare begins at around the 15-minute mark. Springare gained notoriety earlier this year for a Facebook post where he spoke out about issues with immigrants in his town. This was not popular with the powers that be, as they've concentrated on keeping criminal demographics hidden, and the state crime council 'BRÅ' has been prevented from disclosing such data for more than ten years.

As Springare overnight became a national hero, he also became a target for repression. Authorities immediately opened a criminal investigation, even though they had no crime to investigate. (Compare with Assange case - much of the same thing.)

And now, as the powers that be are trying again, some kind soul at public service seems to have tried a bit of a trick.

The following two frames from from the actual SVT transmission. They're placed in the middle of the 'Peter Springare story' with no explanation and no relevance. Peter is pictured immediately beforehand. Then this happens - it's on screen only one second at most.

Here's the same shot, with a bit more focus on the background, one second later, right before the camera moves on.

That's the WikiLeaks website seen so coincidentally through Peter Springare's glasses.

No Connection

It should be pointed out that there is no connection between Peter Springare and WikiLeaks. All Peter Springare did was post to Facebook. But that's enough for the all-but-nonpartisan Swedish 'public service'. As both WikiLeaks and Peter Springare represent considerable threats to the powers that be in Sweden.

Subliminal suggestion has been in use for at least half a century.

How effective this perhaps amateurish attempt by SVT is - that's another matter.

But judge yourself. And keep in mind that WikiLeaks is not part of the news segment, there are no references to WikiLeaks at all, and Peter Springare is not even pictured near a computer.

'A public limited company that can be described as a quasi-autonomous non-government organisation.'
