Xfile: A Walk in the Park

Yes it is amazing. Suck it up.

Get It

Try It

ALISO VIEJO (Rixstep) — Just a walk through the park. Rushing past Xcode 10's 350,000+ files (94,939 directories). Unseen are two additional columns of data. This is a professional file manager.

The program managed to scroll past better than 1600 directories per minute or better than 27 directories per second.

All the other file managers on Apple's platforms can't even open up a fraction of that many directories without hanging or crashing, much less navigate through them, much less do it so fast.

The hardware's fast enough, so isn't it amazing that, with so much brilliant technology, Apple's application developers can do so little?

This amazing program Xfile scrolled past better than 1600 directories per minute or better than 27 directories per second. This is a professional file manager.

For Xfile this is just a walk in the park, but do try it on TFF or PF.

(Good luck. Really.)
