CharX is all about Unicode characters on OS X. It dispays them in 256 pages in 16 x 16 matrices.
Finding your favourite Mandarin symbol for 'house without a roof' may be no easier than before, but with CharX you can scroll through the jungle and view and get anything you want.
The accompanying Closeup panel provided by the ACP Framework does the rest: just drag the most beloved of your alien squigglies to the editor of your choice and they become a part of your opus.
Simply put, CharX is used as both a reference work and a way to comprehensively view - and work with - the entire Unicode character set.
