Try It

The roundup's begun: a raid on Habbo's produced the arrest of a hard core criminal. Five 15yos are under suspicion and one 17yo is formally charged with having stolen virtual furniture.

No one's really sure yet where the furniture is but authorities believe it's hidden in the suspects' virtual rooms.

The victims originally paid for this virtual furniture with not so virtual money so the furniture has a not so virtual value and therefore the theft's a not so virtual theft.

The victims were were lured to fake Habbo websites where they were tricked out of their Habbo passwords.

Guests at the Habba hotel decorate their own rooms (novel approach for a hotel) and play games with real cash. The 6,000,000 people in 30 countries that are guests of a Habba Hotel include Ozzy Osbourne, the Beastie Boys, and Ashlee Simpson.

Habba Hotel is the creation of the Finnish company Sulake. Their executive officers are pictured below. From left to right: Timo Soininen, Juha Hynynen, Osma Ahvenlampi, Outi Henriksson, Teemu Huuhtanen, and Tero Raij.

Habba Hotel succeeds the earlier real estate project Hotelli Kultakala. Sulake have acquired Finland's largest social networking service IRC-Galleria.
