Radisson Mart Plaza Hotel MiamiIt's in the small details.
Crime is everywhere. Not just on the Internet. Awareness of risks must be everywhere as well. And we have a propensity when forced to outsource our security to assume we're in capable hands.
That could be a major mistake at the Radisson Mart Plaza Hotel in Miami. Bambi Vincent took this photo from inside the door of her room there. Anything wrong with the picture?
There are so many levels to this compounded stupidity. Someone was tasked with mounting the security latches; the hotel must of needs have a security manager who in turn is responsible to the hotel manager. It's a small detail but it's the kind of blooper that's eminently accessible - and as such one that should be checked fastidiously. Yet it was not.
There are a lot of people who contributed to this - one after the other after the other. Check your latches - check everything - at your hotel rooms. And be very careful at the Radisson Mart Plaza Hotel in Miami.
The staff at this hotel win The Technological's very first Brain Latched on Backwards Award™ for 2010.
