The New iPod
15,000 songs. 25,000 photos. 150 hours of video.
Who's the better poker player? Bill Gates said it was a good idea; Steve Jobs said it wasn't; Bill Gates insisted it was; Steve Jobs said it wouldn't work; Bill Gates said it would; Steve Jobs insisted it wouldn't because it couldn't offer instant gratification.
And now here we have it - a new 'video' iPod.
This one has up to 20 hours battery life, up to 60 GB disk storage, a world clock, audiobooks, podcasts, music, videos, shuffling - and it starts at $299, the price of only three Steve Ballmer PCs.
Both models measure 4.1 x 2.4 inches; the lesser is slightly thinner at 0.43 inches; the 60 GB model is 0.55 inches thick.
It can sync contacts, calendars, and to-do lists.
It comes in one of two colours: white and black.
