Symantec have a new report out and everyone's covering it: CNET, Ars, - everybody. And as per usual they're deliberately sidestepping the one thing that's significant - to their future business that is.

Symantec's February State of Spam Report attempts to focus on a purportedly interesting trend - namely that the increased prevalence of broadband in Europe has led that continent to take over the spammer lead from the US.

Yawn. Seriously: what does this matter? It doesn't. But what really matters is something the philanthropists at Symantec and similar 'agencies' dare not even whisper - namely that it's the utterly crappy Windows and nothing else responsible for the deplorable situation today.
