Welcome to NeXTbuntu.
As Steve Jobs won't play ball with others, it's time to take the ball away from him.
NeXTbuntu is only a working title, but its purpose is clear: to make OpenStep available on all Linux and Unix releases and to make generic OS X Cocoa code eminently portable, even to make Cocoa executables eminently portable.
There are strains of code that will be collected: from the GNUstep project, from the defunct OpenStep on Linux project, and so forth. One of the first tasks will be to upgrade the look so as to approach OS X.
Approximately two dozen programmers, testers, and project managers have already expressed an interest. If you have something to offer NeXTbuntu, click this link.
