CrackLib is an open source password checking library.

All Unix systems have this library. You don't.

All Apple give you are three files in /usr/share/cracklib. Pretty useless. You don't get the header files crack.h or packer.h. You don't get a clue what's going on. You certainly don't get the CrackLib password attacker dictionary.

Pretty lame.
