The 1 February 2009 update of the ACP is one of the most extensive ever. Some thirty applications are affected. The focus has been on ergonomics and readying APIs for the leap to Snow Leopard and 64-bit.

[All ACP software has now been ported to 64-bit. The products are not released as 64-bit but the code is now officially ready.]

All ACP products are affected: both the full ACP, the Xfile mini-package, and ACP Portable.

[The ACP Portable update was not previously announced but is now ready as well.]

Affected modules include but are not limited to: ACP.framework, ASM, ASMX, AWS, CLIX, Clipothèque, CLIX, GD, GDE, Hawkeye, Lightman, Rixcomp, Spike, SPX, Swap, TIFFCompress, UCS, Undercover, Xbase, Xfile, Xfind, Xscan, Xshelf, Xstrings, XX.

These changes affect both versions 1.8 for 10.4 Tiger, 2.0 for 10.5 Leopard, and '10.4/5/6' ACP Portable.

[ACP Portable runs on both 10.4 Tiger, 10.5 Leopard, and 10.6 Snow Leopard.]
