The author Matthias Wille's site seems gone forever, but if you can pick up a copy of this game it's well worth it. SameGame takes just over 1 MB on your disk; it's freeware; it's another of those strange 'Carbon' applications that are proud of using R***b***c, but it's still OK.

You play by grouping tiles of the same colour together and then clicking on them to remove them. You keep going until no more tiles can be removed from the board. You get exponential rewards by removing more tiles in one go.

There are a few oddities in the game, such as a grayed-out 'Preferences' item on the application menu while another 'Preferences' item thrives on the Game menu, but in general this game will treat your system right. You won't find funny things going on once the game is over.

And it's sort of fun too.
